“Thank you very much for your clear, informative and detailed information regarding Bella Vista Garden’s proactive approach to managing COVID19. I also appreciate your targeted approach when it comes to isolating affected residents—rather than a total lockdown of the entire facility. This has of course, has been made somewhat easier with the Omicron variant and with that fact that Bella Vista Gardens took proactive approach to booster shots for residents as soon as possible last year. I very much appreciate the hardworking staff at Bella Vista Gardens over these difficult three years. Thank you all!”

“I want to commend you on the approach you are taking. While it is hard not to be able to visit mum, it is of great comfort to me that Bella Vista Gardens are dealing with the public health crisis with this level of rigour. I appreciate it must be very trying on you and all the Bella Vista Gardens staff and thank you all for your continued efforts and care for all the residents.”

“Thank you to all the wonderful caregivers at Bella Vista Gardens for the amazing work you do in caring for our mum, Marcelle Lolas.
In particular we would like to thank mum’s favourite carers, Bandana, Kuma, Shabnam, Ronjita, Kulvinder, Karija and Nada, who mum feels are like family to her. She is so lucky to have such amazing, caring and supportive people around her every day. Thank you for enriching mum’s life.
Your work is valued and very much appreciated and doesn’t go unnoticed. Please know that you are truly appreciated. Thank you for making mum feel like she has her family around her when we can’t be there. She feels at home!”

I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful day you organised for Grand Kids Day. It made me realise that we are part of something rather special at Bella Vista Gardens. My mother has been at Bella Vista Gardens nearly one year and we have met many people. From the staff, management and residents, now seeing familiar family members and how they relate. All this in a social environment and letting me understand that we are part of a lively community. Being our first time at such an event was a little confronting at first, yet we feel more comfortable in meeting other families and to see the families behind the residents, makes it even more of a family environment where we all are welcomed, making all of us feel special together. The day was so joyous and the guy running it created so much engagement. To see the young children show their talents and to be enjoyed from all ages and even the staff having fun was a breath of fresh air. My mum has been reserved yet I saw her start clapping and getting involved as she could see her grandchildren participate much to my surprise. It makes us feel more fulfilled and welcome to know we are not there on our own in this journey. I look forward to the next event and I wish to congratulate you and the efforts of everyone to make us feel more involved. D. Starr, April 2019
On behalf of our family, I would like to extend our deep appreciation of how our mother was lovingly taken care of in Bella Vista Gardens by all staff. She is very happy in her stay at Bella Vista Gardens. She has been through ups and downs during her two years of stay, but because of the tender loving care given to my mother by the nursing staff, she has recovered very well many times. Yesterday, our family had given a small token of our appreciation (a box of chocolates) to the morning, afternoon and evening staff of Daffodil section. Thank you Bella Vista Gardens. More power to you! Nelia Dayao (eldest daughter of Emiliana)
I would like to say how much I enjoyed my four weeks respite care at Bella Vista Gardens, Kellyville. I would also like to say how caring and attentive the staff were on all occasions. One person in particular stands out. Nothing was too much trouble for her, she was always cheerful and helpful and obliging. I found my room large and very comfortable and clean with a good view of the garden outside and plenty of morning sun. Breakfast, lunch and dinner all with three courses were excellent. With dinner or lunch came the occasional glass of wine – who could ask for more. There was plenty of entertainment provided in the Piano Room. Bingo, Jeopardy and other quizzes with many other items to keep one busy. I particularly enjoyed the Wine and Cheese tasting afternoon with my friend Keith and the Hawaiian Day which was enjoyed by many of the residents. I also made use of the library with its many books and the coffee-making machine. I treated my stay at Bella Vista Gardens as a holiday and was not disappointed, in fact I experienced some sadness when it was time to return home. Thanks for a good stay. Eric (Malcolm) Barnett
The Christmas Concert was lovely. I enjoyed watching the dancing, and listening to the music. It reminded me of the days I used to be able to dance and swing my partner around. D. Murray, 23 November 2018.
What a wonderful concert and lunch! Hearing all the old songs was great. All the activities and trips have been marvellous and I can’t fault any of them. The activities team, especially Maree, are lovely. Betty Morris, 22 November 2018.
“The Bella Vista Gardens’ recent annual Cheese and Wine event, held on Sunday 14 October 2018 was a most enjoyable afternoon. The food and wine were lovely and we would be happy to enjoy it more often. The wines were well talked about and the staff made the afternoon most successful. It was great to see so many people attending and [being] happily engaged”. Pat Doyle’s (resident’s) Family.
“[The] presentation was excellent. Three very different wines complemented well by the cheeses and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and helpful and made the day most enjoyable. Good luck for future events”. P. Todhunter (relative of Barbara Deece), of the Wine and Cheese event.
“Congratulations to all concerned for a wonderful event (again!). Margaret did a wonderful presentation. The wine was interesting to taste and the accompanying canapes were delicious. Thank you Bella Vista Gardens. We hope to have a repeat event next year. Thank you also to Veronica and Cherry” John and Julie Kolosowski (relatives of Marta Markovic), of the Wine and Cheese event.
“Thank you so much! I can’t begin to thank you all as much as you all deserve. The difference in him during the first few days has been astounding. He is interested, engaged and motivated to get up and improve. He has been sleeping right through the night and eating his meals. He looks better than he has looked in a long time and all his visitors have called me to remark on his improvement. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.” Lynelle, Daughter of Resident, December 2017
“It was the hardest decision of our life to make for Mum to go into someone else’s care. We investigated and visited many facilities before finally settling on Bella Vista Gardens. We were very impressed with the quality of the facility, menus, occupational therapy and physiotherapy opportunities, but most importantly by the very high standard of nursing and medical care available to Mum. The constancy of staff was also a very important factor…They were welcoming and inclusive of Mum and us and we have forged friendships with each of the residents and the staff. It is a very family orientated, cheery and supportive environment. Mum has a bright and airy Garden Suite which opens onto a small courtyard and garden area. She now refers to Bella Vista Gardens as home and has settled in well.” Denise, Daughter of Resident, December 2017
“I just wanted to send an email to thank you and your staff for being so accommodating, professional and caring yesterday and for making mum and dad’s transition a whole lot easier. It is a great comfort to my brother and I knowing that they are cared for and are in a place where they will be treated with dignity and respect. The lunch was lovely and the support of your staff was invaluable. Please pass on our appreciation.” May 2017
“I cannot say thank you enough for all the exceptional care you have all provided for my Dad….He has been very happy here and I have been able to relax knowing he is in such good hands. I especially appreciate all the the extra support you’ve given to accommodate my being interstate. You guys are the best!” March 2017
“Bella Vista Gardens has far exceeded our expectations – taking aged care to a whole new level. The high standards of not only the facilities but more importantly the staff, are second to none. Everyone has made the transition to aged care so easy. It is not easy making the decision to put both parents into aged care, however you have made this process free from guilt and regret. Above all knowing that they are safe and secure in their own “home” is of huge comfort to us as their family. Thank you to all the wonderful staff. You are greatly appreciated.” March 2017
“A brief note of thanks for helping our mother settle into her new home and for providing all of us with the support and reassurances we have needed at this difficult time.” January 2017
“Thank you once again for the marvellous service and love that you have extended to both mum and dad and the rest of our family.” November 2016
“Thanks so much to everyone – a great first day and everyone made Mum feel so welcome.” November 2016
